The International School of Louisiana(ISL) is a K-8 immersion school. Starting in Kindergarten, I was fully immersed in the French language and only received one hour of English at school. Starting in 6th grade I took science and history in English but continued to have math in French. In the 8th grade, I took the B1 DELF proficiency exam and I scored high enough to earn the B1 Diploma. My certificate and score can be seen on the page below. Throughout my time at ISL I participated in circus arts. In the 6th grade I began performing with the ISL Circus Troop and I continued to volunteer with them until my junior year of high school.
